My wife and I have worked with Jon Carey on two building projects.

The first time was for our dream home. Jon was able to interpret our ideas and create a custom plan exactly as we wanted. The price was tailored to our budget and included the façade and the internal features that we required.

The builder that he worked with did an excellent job. There were no price variations and we were very happy with the construction process and the standard of finish.

The second time that we worked with Jon was for our rental property. For this house we still wanted quality construction as it is a long term investment but the price was very important.

Working together we designed a plan and determined a likely price. At that time Jon was representing only the one builder. Looking for a better price we took our plan to another builder and signed with them.

Once we had signed, there were significant time delays and the price of the footings escalated rapidly making the overall price much higher than anticipated. We went back to Jon who placed our job with the original builder.

Our house was built for the price as originally estimated with no drama and to a high standard.

We would recommend Jon Carey to anyone contemplating a building. His ability to accumulate and assess information is invaluable. We intend to use him for our next project.

Jon oversaw the construction of two investment properties in Windsor Gardens for us while we lived in England. Being so far away and not having had the experience of building property before meant that we were very grateful for his assistance in supervising and coordinating all the stages of the process, from demolition and approvals through to subdivision and construction. Jon patiently dealt with lots of questions from us throughout the time we worked together, and we felt that the project was in good hands as he responded efficiently and helpfully via phone and email.

Jon monitored all the details of our building project, including advising on selections for everything from bricks and tiles through to blinds and flooring. He sent us pictures of all the suggested options from Adelaide, and we made final selections on a trip back to Australia - this was our only visit to Adelaide during construction, so the rest of the project all the way through to final landscaping and paving was managed by Jon and his team.

All the associated costs were discussed with us prior to signing the contract, and the final product was delivered on budget. We were kept appraised of progress at all stages of the project, and were very reassured by Jon's proactivity in managing challenges as they arose. Our first experience of building was successful, due entirely to Jon and the team he coordinated to complete the project. Based on our experience we are glad to recommend him to anyone planning a building project.

We are currently finishing off the construction of our beach front custom home south of Adelaide.

I found Jon Carey via the website of the builder that he was working with. Jon designed a suitable plan and provided turnkey pricing for the project. He organized an associate to handle the subdivision on our behalf. With plans, pricing & approvals in place Jon assisted us with the selection process and the documentation.

Everything went smoothly. There were no pricing or construction issues. The property was completed ready for tenants to move straight in.
